******* ADVERTISING - RAIN INTERNET

I was a relatively new subscriber to RAIN internet. They advertise that you only pay for what you use, When I mentioned I would be out of the country, I was told I did not have to do anything as long as I did not use their service I would not be charged.

Towards the end of December 2018 I decided to discontinue using Rain's services. For the month of January 2019 I was charged R250 despite the fact that I did not use their services. When I queried this with Arnold Xaba of RAIN, I was informed that I would not receive a refund. He then informed me to cancel online the R250 limited internet that I had ticked on their website. I did that immediately.

However, it seems this cancellation will only take place at the end of February, which means that I will again have to pay R250 for the month of February. How is this possible when RAIN's advertising slogan is you only pay for what you use?

Despite several emails to Rain over a period of 10 days I am still unable to resolve this query.
