I had an exceptional experience with Siphiwe, a Rain support agent. Despite my frustration with an ongoing internet outage and not always being the most patient, Siphiwe remained calm, empathetic, and professional. They listened, explained clearly, and went above and beyond to help. I felt heard and supported, and for that, Siphiwe gets 5 stars. But Rain’s support system and ongoing network issues? 0 stars. The endless bots, confusing automated menus, long wait times, and outsourcing calls to India for South African customers made everything worse. The communication issues and delays were more frustrating than the outage itself. If not for Siphiwe’s outstanding service, I would have switched providers. Rain must recognize Siphiwe’s value and urgently fix their broken, customer-unfriendly support process, starting with s****ping the bots and bringing support closer to home.
