Gross Incompetence: Rain Cancels NPO Router Delivery for the Second Time After Taking My Money!
I am absolutely disgusted with Rain's service. Today (June 11), I literally had to drive to a completely different town just to collect my new router, only for Rain to cancel the order on their side at the last minute. This is the SECOND time they have done this, yet they have already debited my account and taken my money! This is not a casual home internet line. This setup is for a registered NPO, Joe's Rehabilitation Centre. This connection is vital for our emergency crisis helpline (***). While the number is thankfully still active, we are being severely crippled operationally because Rain cannot deliver the correct hardware (the Rain Loop router needed for our local tower). You are actively disrupting an addiction and crisis intervention lifeline. I cannot cancel the contract on your portal because your automated system threats to delete our helpline number entirely, leaving me trapped in your broken system. I demand that a Tier 3 Senior Manager contacts me immediately today to resolve this. Do not send me an automated bot response or a generic courier update. I need an emergency courier override to get the correct Rain Loop router delivered directly to me without further delays.
- The Legal Paper Trail: A formal dispute citing Sections 55 and 56 of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) was emailed to your department on 21 May 2026. Rain ignored it for 13 business days, leaving a generic, unmonitored automated bot to handle a legal matter.
- Financial Abuse & Logistics Failure: Today, June 11, Rain debited my account for the second time, forced me to drive to a completely different town to collect hardware, and then cancelled the delivery on your side at the last minute for the second time.
- Hardware Incompetence: Your system dispatched "the101" router to an area where your own team confirmed it has zero network coverage. The local tower explicitly requires a Rain Loop router, yet your logistics department keeps trying to push non-functional hardware.
- Holding an NPO Hotline Hostage: Your agents insist the only way to fix your internal system error is to cancel the contract, which your automated portal states will delete or recycle our emergency helpline number (***). This number is a public lifeline for Joe's Rehabilitation Centre (NPO 26-76771). I strictly refuse to let Rain delete a community crisis line because of your software limitations.
- Call Center Games Caught on Record: When I spoke to a supervisor today and read out our statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, she literally repeatedly muted herself, pretending she couldn't hear the line, and kept begging for permission to hang up because she was out of her depth. The entire interaction was recorded.
