Good on paper, but terrible in reality

We get good speeds when doing tests, but it definitely feels like certain sites (particularly international sites) are throttled. To confirm this, we ran speed tests using mybroadband (a local speed test service) and speedtest.net (an international speed test service) and we got results that differed by more than 10mbs.

Rain support was so exhausting to deal with that I eventually just gave up. They made me feel like I was a hamster running in a wheel by taking me on an endless loop of troubleshooting steps, passing me from consultant to consultant along the way, each with their own contradicting explanations and proposed solutions which included asking me to hire an IT professional to come and diagnose the issues, or purchasing an expensive directional antenna system to make sure that I connect to the correct Rain tower for my location.
