Reference Number: ***9 .Received a text stating i have been handed over to Debts for owing R972.68. I called in escalate my case for investigate and was told even though on my rain portal shows my payments they want me to send my bank statements. I have always paid pro-rate , now I'm told its not the case . Rain states i owe for September and October 2023( yes i was only informed of this , in June 2024) Yet i have proof of payment in August 2023 ( payment for September 2023 services ., Payment in September 2023, Note this was when i placed my one month cancellation notice ( for October 2023 as i was paying pro-rata) . This is my response - Your 5G Standard Unlocked Promo was cancelled on 30.09.2023 and the last charges for that are included in the invoice.

The 5G rainOne services were cancelled on 31.10.2023 and the last charges for that are included in the invoice.

So I had two services render to one modem ? how was I not made aware ? Seems like an easy rouse to attempt ***** on customers -
