**** RAIN network...

This is the biggest **** of the century!! When I first bough their simcard, I was glad that I was going to save on data, since my bussines needs me to be "online" all the times, i shooed around and rain came highly recommended for its fadr cheap internet, boy was I wrong? They charge you R250 a month for an unlimited "off-peak" from 11:00pm to 6pm next day, good luck trying to get a connection. The first two days was OK but going forward, the sim card only works 20% of the time during their "off-peak" time, otherwise it's no internet. The internet is so slow and pathetic, that you can't even view statuses on Whatsapp, don't start me on Netflix, you'll spend 4hours trying to finish one episode, a day. Another big **** they dont tell you when you sign up, this off-peak time from 11pm, it's false, they know very well no one is up at that time, unless syoure literally waiting for it, but you'll only have connection for 1hr, after midnight, it's off the internet, until 5:00am and again, the struggle for internet will be real, you'll end up being late for work cos you want to check status updates that take forever to load.

I am in their 4G coverage and I shouldn't be experiencing such problems but I can tell you I know 4 other users who are far from me, who are expericieng the same thing, so if your ideal reason to save data is to buy RAIN, rather use your R250 to buy vodacom/telkom data and just use it sparingly because you'll only see clouds gather, it will never RAIN!!

I guess this is how the billionaire is making his money, sell people a product that doesn't work and refuse to refund them. Rain is sh**y network you don't get half of what you pay for.
