Extremely Disappointed with Rain’s Service

I would strongly advise against signing up with Rain. My daughter has experienced ongoing issues with this service provider, particularly in relation to billing and poor communication. Despite visiting their Circular Drive branch multiple times to request a change in the debit order date—from the 25th to the 1st of each month to align with her salary payment—Rain continues to deduct the instalment on the incorrect date. This has caused unnecessary financial strain and frustration. On Saturday, 26 July, Rain debited the monthly instalment again. She visited the branch, where the payment was reversed and she was assured that future payments would only be deducted on 1 August 2025. Yet, to our dismay, Rain went ahead and debited the account again today, 28 July 2025. The lack of communication between their local office and Head Office is appalling, and the service delivery has been nothing short of unprofessional. As a result of this continuous incompetence, we are cancelling the contract with immediate effect. Rain has proven to be unreliable and unresponsive. We will not be recommending them to anyone.
