EISH it's broken

rain South Africa Eish it's broken. Fiber to tower was apparently broken on Monday 27/6/2022. RAIN was working remotely apparently to "fix it". Due to Covid and the state of the nation, we work from home and have an online business, our only income. We've bought bucket loads of Vodacom data [not cheap] VodaPay but RELIABLE. Several of us each phoned the Rain call centre 3x a day, emailed, Facebooked + FB Messenger + Twitter. They didn't know anything about it. On FRIDAY a technical person arrived, managed to set up 2 of the routers. Saturday the next level technicians AKA outdoor team climbed rooves and found NO SIGNAL. They don't have access to ENGINEERS or more senior people. Apparently the engineers need to reprogram and switch on the tower on our property - just a few metres from our doorsteps. WHY WAS THIS NOT DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE? Our debits orders for the new month have gone off as usual. We have not been able to stock our online shops, therefore will not earn for the next week as our auctions run for 7 days. This dysfunctional service does not just prevent us from watching movies, it cuts us off from our income and the ability to sell. Unlike RAIN and many other local service providers, eBay requires a 98% service level. There are requirements for turnaround time, responses etc. When we provide poor service of less than 98%, we are pushed to the bottom of the pile and are not able to function as a business. Top rated seller status takes years and years to attain and can never be repaired or reversed.

Hi Sharon

We're really sorry your rain experience hasn't been as good as you expected.

We're going to get on this asap.

Thank you, rain.

Seeing is believing and a refund would be in line for the entire complex.
CYA sending technical people on a weekend, that should cost a cent or two.
Will you also be reimbursing for loss of business and reputational damage?
