Don't use Rain 5G !

This company is absolutely useless. Don't fall for all the frills they promise. I have been without internet for 5 days now. They refuse to get someone out to the tower to fix it. This happens often.

They charge you R730 per month for a service you'll be lucky to get 20% connectivity.

1. They cannot maintain their towers. 2. Their towers dont work in load shedding. 3. There is always intermittent connectivity. 4. Consultants cannot assist you when you call in other than suggest a reboot. 5. Managers assume no responsibility. Its up to the call centre agent to repeat the obvious. The tower is down and they dont know when it will be fixed. 6. Sometimes you get hold of agents based in India, who are just there to answer calls and log it. you will not get your problem resolved.

Rather get Fibre. Its cheaper, more consistent, cheaper and is also month to month. This company doesn't deserve to be in the ISP space as they are incapable of maintaining their infrastructure on a consistent basis while still charging you.

If you need LTE, rather go Telkom or MTN.
