Debited for no services bad and dishonest

I was debited for an un rendered service , I was not told that I must cancel my account when the connection is bad, I was told this is a month to month billing and paid cash the first month, the Consultant never told me that I must cancelled now I have been billed R497 for data that I never used I want a full refunded asap and need a confirmation that my account has been deactivated since I did so online
