Complaint for Rain Internet Service Provider

On the 4th of June, I ordered an unlimited 4G 24/7 from Rain, order # ***, and I was charged R479 upfront for the SIM card. A few days later, RAM confirmed receipt of my parcel, order #RAIN-***0. I kept on tracking my order until I noticed that my parcel was sent back to ISANDO, Johannesburg, on 12/06, received by Anthony (RTSCPT-***0).

I then contacted Rain’s support team regarding this matter, asking for a refund since the SIM card had been sent back to them & had not received any response from them. On Wednesday, 17/06, I sent them a message on their Instagram account & received feedback immediately, asking for my contact details and told me that someone from their Support team was going to contact me shortly & I gave them my cellphone # & email address & No one called or emailed me. I then followed up the following day, and received no reply.

This was not the first time I had placed an order with Rain & that never came. In early March, I ordered their 19 hours unlimited off-peak package for R250, was charged R1 upfront, but never received that SIM card, but I never followed up on that because it was just a R1.

I don’t think I’m being unreasonable for wanting my money back since I don’t have their SIM card. I sent them another message yesterday, telling them that I was going to take this further & I got a response saying they were going to forward this to their management team. I have no faith in them now. I just want my money back. I’m very disappointed with their service.
