Cancelled service not cancelled.

I cancelled my subscription but found out that they kept billing me, telling me that even though I cancelled, the services were never cancelled. Now they have debt collectors phoning and sending endless emails and messages. When I cancelled last year, I was told they are going to come and pick up the modem and will be contacted for collection as there was a backlog on cancellation. Nothing has happened, instead I kept being billed
