Call To Action Against Rain Internet Service Provider

We all need to come together and launch a fat lawsuit to get Rain to compensate us for poor service. The Consumer Protection Act, No.68 of 2008, which came into effect on 31 March 2011, is not just a guideline for consumers as some may presume. It is a consumer’s right to protection against discriminatory marketing practices, disclosure of information, right to fair & honest dealing and accountability by suppliers. Consumers also have the right to query the inferior quality of goods and services. Suppliers are not permitted to directly or indirectly, provide customers with false, misleading or deceptive representations regarding goods or services. If Rain will not be put to task and be made to pay consumers back for substandard service, they will not stop profiteering over hard working consumers. I have been querying Rain since January and they keep making promises they do not keep. I sent queries a few days back, till now, only auto-replies. I pay for a 50gbps deal and I get less than 5mbps. That's like 10% of what I pay for. I need the 40% plus all the supplementary data I paid for during the period to be reimbursed including the cost of production.

I am calling on all consumers who have had to, 1. Get less than what their deal stipulates 2. Had to buy supplementary data to compensate for poor service delivery 3. Queried the quality of service and did not get timeous responses and were prejudiced in a way or another

For this to work, please ensure you download an app (Speedtest) and measure the DTR at least 4 times a day, morning, afternoon and evening.
