Call from attorneys

I used rain 2020 and 2021. I cancelled their service as the internet connection was not good, I struggled now and again and it got worse with time I couldn't use the internet without it buffering. I cancelled with them. I have numerous references with them. Sad part about rain you have to send a request with them and they will respond than you get a reference. Today I got a call from some attorneys saying I owe rain 290.00. I Advise the guy I do not have a rain contract I used rain in 2020/2021 for about 9 months on a month to month and our relationship ended there. I call rain today directly too Wow they say I never cancelled. I asked so were they providing any service to me is it evident? I am not going to play games with rain they failed to provide a service I attempted to resolve with them on numerous attempts and I told them that I'm fed up they keep their rain I am moving elsewhere. Please kindly sort out my issue I will not be call by people telling me ai owe rain whiles I told rain that I do not need their service anymore and never used them again
