Beyond Frustrated with Rain

Here is my initial review : I need to vent about the utterly infuriating situation I’m dealing with thanks to Rain. In October 2022, I canceled my month-to-month payment plan with Rain. Got the confirmation, and all seemed good. to 18 October 2023, I get this random text saying I’ve been handed over to lawyers because I didn’t pay. What on earth? I get on the phone with Rain's customer service, hoping for an explanation. The first person I talk to is clueless. Then I get transferred to a Team Leader called Shubsam, who conveniently hides behind company policy and won’t give me his full name. Here’s the kicker: I faithfully paid my bill from July 2020 to October 2022. But get this, Rain apparently charges you for an extra month after cancellation. Okay, fine, if that’s the rule, why didn’t anyone tell me? Why did no one bother reaching out for a whole year? Instead, I’m hit with legal threats out of nowhere. I told Shubsam about Rain’s complete lack of honesty and communication. It’s not even about the money. It’s about being treated like a human being and having proper processes in place. And what do I get after the call? A text and an email demanding payment, like our conversation meant absolutely nothing. I’m beyond frustrated. This is not how you treat your customers!! UPDATE AS OF OCTOBER 25: After being taken from pillar to post and receiving zero assistance!! I paid the amount because dealing with a pathetic company like rain is not worth my peace of mind. I want my details to be removed from the system ASAP! I called the call centre and I spoke to agents in INDIA?? I need my personal details removed as I don't want to be affiliated or connected to rain for a second longer! SECOND UPDATE AS OF NOVEMBER 3: Rain responded to my review on October 25 and I was told my matter was escalated and this was after calling the call centre and being told the same thing on the same day. It is now November 3 and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING has been done. I need my name, ID number and all my personal information removed from your system, it is still there and there is no option for me to do so. I am not affiliated with you in anyway, removing details cannot take a million years to do. YOU ARE BRAZEN *******! I will be taking this matter legal!
