Be warned, Rain ISP's service is lower than rock-bottom

To give Rain a one star rating is an insult to a one star rating. Customers looking for an ISP should be warned that you get involved with Rain at your own grief and endless frustation. I'm sure Rain places much more emphasis on prime time tv advertising than it does on customer service and technical assistance.

I got Rain 5G at the end of November 2021, after completing the application the router was delivered to me within a few days on 30 November 2021. Unfortunately the router wasn't working or the SIM card was faulty. After numerous attemps to connect to the Internet without assistance and success I gave up and contacted Rain to cancel the contract. It is now almost two months later and I am still waiting for Rain to collect the router and refund my money. I will be writting a complaint to the relevant ombudsman to assist in getting my refund and to propose that certain changes be made to the process.
