Bad service

I purchased a sim with rain and it was delivered and I was sent an sms saying it's activated. I haven't been to use the sim since it arrived as it says emergency services. I have emailed, dm'd on Twitter and tried their online service but none of their consultants have helped me so far. However they were quick to debit my account.
