Avoid RAIN at all cost

You have to avoid Rain with all your might. Dishonesty and confusion is the order of the day.

last time I changed my debit order date, I ended up being billed twice in 7 days and it took long calls for me to get the R999 back which if you calculate the airtime I used (Considering it takes them an average of 12 minutes to answer your call), then I got less than R999.

I gave a notice to cancel my service on the 31st November and the app showed that I will have service until 25 December. Then boom 1st December my service have been cancelled. Called rain and after 12 minute got to an agent who didn't do anything actually but **** through his teeth that the towers in my area were down (see email extract below) . This did not sound right and I asked my Neighbours and they all confirmed that their service was working.

Called 2nd time to be informed that my service have been terminated barring the fact their system did said I will have service until 25th December.

Now I needed to wait 72 hours while she logs a call and I can guarantee you. You never get rebates for the times you had no internet. I opted to stay without internet and avoid headaches. It will only be a couple of weeks then fibre will be active.

So if you are reading this and you have another option. I would say avoid Rain at all costs or you will be frustrated and loose a lot of money making calls which they will lie to you by the way. It was not the first time they did to me.
