AVOID AT ALL COSTS. It is so easy to sign up with Rain Internet. Too easy. They call you within 2 minutes of showing interest and promise you the world. They promise a full refund if you cancel within 7 days for any reason. My connectivity was so bad. Download speeds of 1.5mb/s if lucky. The 2 mobile sim cards given as part of the deal couldn't even access the internet or make calls. I canceled within 12 hours of activation. I have screenshots of my cancelation, support requests, and a recording of the initial sales call, all emailed to my Gmail to prove a timeline of events. When logging a support request, a confirmation email is sent that DOES NOT include your original message, giving them full deniability. A message is sent to you saying a representative will contact you shortly. You will NEVER be contacted. You cannot get through to anyone on their support line, and if you do after waiting in excess of an hour, they just hang up. THEY DO NOT REFUND YOU. They *****ULENTLY continue to take your money after cancellation. The only way to stop them is to cancel your bank card and get a new one. If you want to get rid of Rain, do this as a matter of urgency. This is the worst company ever. Their customer service is non-existent. Don't be sucked in by their cheap price like I did. If it looks too good to be true, it usually is. Rather pay a bit more with MTN, CellC, Vodacom. I would avoid Telkom as they lock you into a long-term contract if you need a router, and they are just another failed parastatal that cannot be re**** upon until they are bought out by a reputable, international company that doesn't have ANC hands in the cookie jar.
