5g actually means no connectivity

My signal on my 5g router has been dropping constantly over the last few weeks especially in the evenings where I have to spend most of the night trying to fix my connection. When I do eventually get signal again it is just so weak that I might as well not have anything. I then have to connect to my phone hotspot to get work done. What am I even paying for. Paying for 5g thinking I won't struggle as much eith connection and yet here I am sitting with absolutely no connectivity. Absolutely pathetic.
