Quirknet: 9 DAYS WITHOUT INTERNET - NO CARE
9 DAYS WITHOUT INTERNET — NO SERVICE, NO RESPONSE, NO CUSTOMER CARE
If this is Quirknet’s idea of customer service, prospective customers should seriously think twice before signing up.
We have now been without internet for 9 days.
Nine days.
During this time, I have emailed Quirknet repeatedly — including on Friday 21 August, Monday 24 August, again this week and again yesterday — asking for assistance, clarity and simply some indication of what is happening.
The response?
Silence.
No meaningful feedback. No resolution. No indication of when the service will be restored. No person taking ownership of the problem. No direct telephone assistance.
And, incredibly, we are still without internet.
Trying to contact Quirknet is an exercise in frustration. Their available contact channels appear designed to keep customers away from actual human beings. Emails either go unanswered or, when responses do arrive, they read like generic AI-generated replies that fail to address the actual issue.
Telephone calls do not result in access to someone who can actually resolve the matter.
Their WhatsApp portal? Also unanswered.
Email? Ignored.
Other contact portals? Either automated or seemingly disappear into a black hole.
At this point, I genuinely do not know what a Quirknet customer is supposed to do when they actually require support.
What makes this situation even worse is that I have made it abundantly clear that, because Quirknet has failed to provide us with a functioning internet service, I want to move to another provider.
I have repeatedly requested my Openserve B-number/service number so that another ISP can assist us.
Quirknet has still not provided it.
So, not only are they seemingly incapable of restoring the internet service we are paying for, but they are also withholding the information I need to move to another provider that may actually be able to give us working internet.
Let that sink in:
No internet. No meaningful support. No communication. No B-number. No ability to move forward. Yet they still expect payment.
I have even stated in writing that, without prejudice to my rights, I am willing to pay the September service fee simply to bring this relationship to an orderly conclusion.
Apparently even that is not enough to earn the courtesy of an actual response.
I have asked specifically for the name and direct contact number of a real person who can speak to me about this matter.
Ignored.
I have asked when the service will be restored.
Ignored.
I have asked for my B-number.
Ignored.
I have asked for clarity regarding cancellation.
Ignored.
I have asked for confirmation that Quirknet will not obstruct our migration to another provider.
Ignored.
After nine days without internet, the biggest problem is no longer simply the outage.
It is the astonishing lack of customer care surrounding it.
Technical faults happen. Equipment fails. Networks experience outages. Most reasonable customers understand that.
What separates a professional service provider from an abysmal one is what they do when something goes wrong.
Communication costs nothing.
Acknowledging a customer's email costs nothing.
Providing an honest update costs nothing.
Allowing a paying customer to speak to an actual human being should not be considered a luxury.
Instead, Quirknet has left us without internet and seemingly without anyone willing to take responsibility for resolving the problem.
The silence has become almost unbelievable.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Quirknet to anyone who relies on their internet connection for work, business or everyday life.
Before signing up, I would strongly suggest prospective customers ask themselves one question:
What happens when something goes wrong and you actually need Quirknet to help you?
Because our experience over the past nine days has provided a very disturbing answer.
Quirknet, I am posting this publicly because your private support channels have failed completely.
I would now like the following, without another automated or generic response:
My Openserve B-number/service number. A direct telephone number for a person who can take responsibility for this matter. A clear explanation of why we have been without internet for nine days. Confirmation of what is being done to resolve the matter. Confirmation that you will not obstruct our move to another ISP.
I have tried repeatedly to resolve this privately.
You have chosen silence.
Perhaps a public platform will finally result in an actual human being responding.
