I have made several calls and emails n whatsapps not success. My fingerprints were rejected and now I wanted to know just a simple thing that why do I have to book again to resubmit finger prints within 90 days as they prescribed. I don't know how munch money I used to buy airtime calling their *** only to holding until call just cut. we are jobless and want to join the security industry with little we have, but they make it difficulty for us to join and even if you are already in this booking thing is not working in security officials favour.. if you go to their offices without a booking they chace you away, but their offices are very few and far away to people who needs its. why they can't allow the finger prints we did at post office or HURU or even SAPS CLEARENCE to make it easy

helpless, don't respond to ***/***, even calls finger prints verification problems

Unprofessional Service, Failure to Provide Certificate and Lack of Accountability at Umlazi Mega City Branch

I would like to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unprofessional service, lack of accountability and unacceptable manner in which the PSIRA kiosk at Umlazi Mega City was operated on 21 August 2026. On 20 August 2026, I visited the Umlazi Mega City branch to enquire about the printing and collection of my certificate. With the assistance of one of the employees, I made a booking to collect my certificate the following day. My booking indicated a collection time of 08:00–10:00, however, I was specifically advised by the employee assisting me that I could come to the kiosk anytime between 10:00 and 15:00 to collect my certificate. I therefore re**** on this information and arranged my plans accordingly. On 21 August 2026, I arrived at the kiosk at approximately 14:30, well within the time I had been advised that I could collect my certificate. To my disappointment, there were no PSIRA agents available at the kiosk. The only person present was a security employee, Mr Khanyile, who informed me that my certificate had not been printed. This is completely unacceptable. I had made the necessary booking and had specifically travelled to this branch because I am only in the Umlazi area for a limited period. I do not live in Umlazi and I will be leaving the area on Sunday evening. I made the booking at this particular branch precisely because I would be in the area for the next two days. What is even more disappointing is that I was told to simply return on Monday. This is not a reasonable solution, considering that the failure to have my certificate ready was not caused by me. I comp**** with the required process, made the booking and arrived during the collection hours communicated to me. Furthermore, I find it extremely concerning that the stated operating/collection hours were not adhered to. I arrived at approximately 14:30, within the advised 10:00–15:00 collection period, yet there were no PSIRA representatives available to assist me. It is unacceptable for customers to be instructed to arrive within specific operating hours and then arrive to find that the responsible staff are not present. I subsequently requested that my father be permitted to collect my certificate on my behalf, given that I will no longer be in the area on Monday. I was informed that this would not be permitted. I find this particularly frustrating because I am now being expected to bear the inconvenience and additional costs resulting from work that was not done by the branch in the first place. I therefore request that this matter be investigated urgently and that accountability be taken for the following: Why was my certificate not printed despite my having made the necessary booking? Why was I advised that I could collect the certificate between 10:00 and 15:00 if there would be no PSIRA representative available during those hours? Why was the kiosk operating without the relevant PSIRA personnel during the stated collection period? Why am I being instructed to return on Monday when the failure to provide the service was entirely outside of my control? Why can an alternative arrangement, such as allowing my father to collect the certificate on my behalf, not be considered under these circumstances? What action will be taken against the responsible employee(s) for failing to provide the service as arranged? I am deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism, communication and accountability demonstrated in this matter. Customers should not have to travel to a branch, make bookings, comply with the required procedures and then be inconvenienced because the branch fails to fulfil its responsibility. I would appreciate a formal response to this complaint, including an explanation of what went wrong and what corrective action will be taken to ensure that other customers are not subjected to the same treatment. Most importantly, I require a practical resolution to my certificate collection, given that I do not reside in Umlazi and will be leaving the area before I am able to return on Monday. I should not be penalised for a service failure on the part of the branch. I trust that this complaint will be treated with the seriousness it deserves and that appropriate action will be taken against those responsible.

Disgusted in psira and the employees

I am highly disappointed in psira I helped my client register for psira for his security business and it took psira 9 months to approve my client. We got approved the 10th July 2026 and 15 days late we get hit with an invoice for over R6000. When I try and reach the person who sent us this invoice she is always unavailable and we must email her . We have done that and no response. There service is pathetic and not up to standard. You can not bill a company if they have not been operational. They are lazy and very unprofessional in my option

Bad Service as always

I would like to formally advise that I have instructed my attorney to proceed with legal action, as I have not received any response from PSIRA or your team despite my previous attempts to resolve this matter. The lack of communication and progress is extremely disappointing. There are individuals who currently have no source of income and are being directly affected by these delays. It is deeply concerning that this situation appears not to be receiving the urgency and attention it deserves. I trust that PSIRA will take this matter seriously and provide an immediate response. 2026/08/17 Here we are again, round two. I would appreciate your guidance on the next step in this process, as I have yet to receive a clear indication of how this matter will be resolved. The ongoing delays are becoming increasingly frustrating. I remain willing to cooperate and provide any information required; however, I would appreciate timely action and feedback from your side to move this matter forward. I really feel must go ahead and take legal action against to PSIRA. Is it what PSIRA wants on there records? I look forward to your response and clarification on the way forward. Ridiculous Service.

Inspection Notice and Availability Another week has passed. According to PSIRA’s requirements, advance notice must be given and an appointment should be arranged before coming to inspect the house. Timeline of Events On Monday, 20/07/2026, I received a call from PSIRA advising that they wanted to come and inspect the house. I informed them that I was ill and would only be open that Wednesday. I waited for them, but no one arrived on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Business Context and Concerns As mentioned, I have two businesses: one focused on PTT radios and the other, Taurus, which we have been struggling with since day one. It is unreasonable for PSIRA to call on a Monday and expect us to immediately adjust everything for them. I have also been told that PSIRA does not have vehicles available and that I must provide funds so they can travel in their own car, which is unacceptable. Today I am unavailable due to flooding. I am available again tomorrow from 09:00, as well as on Wednesday. On Thursday, I need to see a client in Harties, but I will be available again afterward. As you can see, we are making time available for you. Please let me know what works.

Poor Service AGAIN

Good day, I am extremely disappointed with the lack of assistance and feedback I have received from PSIRA regarding my matter. Despite repeated attempts to obtain support, it appears that no one is willing to assist me. As a result, I am being forced to proceed without PSIRA's input, which is unacceptable considering the fees I have already paid. This ongoing delay is negatively affecting my ability to conduct business. I cannot continue operating under these circumstances without a resolution. Therefore, I request that PSIRA either: 1. Resolve my outstanding matter immediately and provide the necessary assistance; or 2. Refund all monies that I have paid to PSIRA without further delay. I would appreciate a prompt response and resolution to this matter. This is my last attempt. I have sent them numerous emails. Then PSIRA wake up again then they are missing again. I'm fedup with PSIRA. As I mentioned I will without with them. I have business, but now I must wait for them. All we need is a letter that states, we have inspected. We cant employ guards nothing. We have event coming up, unfortunaly if we are not there sorry. We submitted all our documents and we have been approved, but for the last 3 months no respond.
