Terrible Quality and Customer Service
I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding both the quality of a Pandora ring purchased for my daughter, as well as the unacceptable customer service she received at the Pandora Walmer Park store. The ring was purchased from Pandora Tygervalley on 26 April 2026 (receipt attached/below). Less than six months after purchase, the centre stone fell out of the ring. On 7 October 2026, my daughter visited the Pandora Walmer Park branch to enquire about a replacement. The staff member on duty advised her that the ring could be exchanged. As the same ring was not available in her size, she was informed that she could select another item of equal value or pay in the difference should she choose a more expensive item. She was also encouraged to take some time to decide how she wished to proceed. My daughter returned to the store on 17 October 2026, where she was assisted by the Store Clerk, Jolene Du Preez. After explaining that she had previously visited on 7 October regarding the exchange, the ring was measured, and Jolene stated that it was a size 50. She then provided my daughter with the same ring in a size 50. However, the replacement ring was clearly too small and would not fit her finger. Jolene subsequently inspected the stamp inside the original ring, which clearly indicates a size 52. A copy of the original proof of purchase was then obtained from Cape Town, confirming that the ring purchased was indeed a size 52. Despite this, Jolene alleged that the ring had been altered. When questioned, she acknowledged that she did not possess either the expertise or technical knowledge required to verify whether the ring had been altered, yet continued to insist that this was the case. When my daughter asked why the position taken on 17 October differed from the advice provided on 7 October, she was informed that "the policy had changed." However, no explanation could be provided as to what policy had changed or when such change had taken effect. The interaction then became increasingly unprofessional, culminating in a sarcastic remark suggesting that they should "fly to Cape Town" to return the ring to the branch where it had originally been purchased. Product Quality Concerns Jewelry is intended to be worn under normal day-to-day conditions. It is concerning that a ring costing what Pandora jewelry does would lose its center stone within such a short period of ownership. In addition, the ring has lost its original round shape and has become noticeably oval. While some wear over time may be expected, this level of deformation within a few months appears excessive and raises questions regarding the quality and durability of the product. Customer Service Concerns What is particularly disappointing is the manner in which my daughter was treated. Her integrity was effectively questioned through allegations that she had altered the ring and was being untruthful about its history. Such accusations should never be made without evidence, especially when the employee concerned has already acknowledged that they do not possess the expertise to make such a determination. Furthermore, the contradictory information provided between 7 October and 17 October, combined with the dismissive and sarcastic attitude displayed during the interaction, falls far short of the level of customer service one would expect from an international brand such as Pandora. Having subsequently read numerous reviews relating specifically to the Walmer Park branch, it is concerning to see similar complaints regarding customer service being raised by other customers. This suggests that our experience may not be an isolated incident. Resolution Requested Given that the ring lost its centre stone within less than six months of normal use, and considering the concerns regarding the product's apparent structural integrity, I request that Pandora provide one of the following remedies: 1. A replacement ring in the correct size (Size 52); or 2. A full refund of the purchase price. In addition, I request a formal response regarding the handling of this matter at the Walmer Park branch, including clarification of the policy that was allegedly changed between 7 October and 17 October 2026. I trust that Pandora will honour its commitment to product quality and customer satisfaction by resolving this matter fairly and promptly. Looking forward to your response.

Pandora quality questionable
Last year in June... My 7 year old grandson bought me a Pandora bracelet...the bracelet was difficult to put on... I thought since it is difficult to put on... Upon removing it when going swimming... It couldn't be clicked back on... I then went into the Sandton branch but couldn't get assistance as the systems changed and the receipt couldn't be found... I eventually found the receipt and took it to Clearwater mall and the clasp was exchanged... I wore it for probably a very short time and the bracelet kept falling off my hand... So I took it back about 3 weeks ago and the lady first looked at me funny then exchanged the clasp... Since then I kept it on my right wrist until I went out yesterday and when I came home... My bracelet was not on my hand... This time it's lost for good😔... So clearly there is something going on with the clasps and the quality of them, and mind you... I don't do any manual labour but the gift from my grandchild is gone foreverðŸ˜

Exceptional and kind service
Chandre and Janelle at Pandora Tygervalley went above and beyond on Friday when I went into their store. They were kind, professional, respectful and listened to my problem. I can't thank them enough for their excellent service. They have restored my faith that exceptional service does still exist. Thank you so very much, my daughter was over the moon!

Unprofessional service
I recently purchased items from Pandora along with their gift bags and boxes but unfortunately did not receive all my bags. THIS WAS PAID FOR and should be given to me as each was valued at R100 . When I wrote a formal email to the customer service a week ago I was told they’d do an investigation and get back to me. I had to follow up on Friday and still received no feedback nor my problem resolved . I am highly disappointed.

Formal complaint regarding customer service and product quality
Dear Pandora Customer Service, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with both the service I recently received at one of your stores (Walmer branch Port Elizabeth) , as well as a quality issue with an engagement ring purchased from your brand. Firstly, I was extremely disappointed by the behavior of one of your staff members during my visit. The interaction was unprofessional and came across as rude and dismissive. As a customer, I expect to be treated with courtesy and respect, especially when making or inquiring about a meaningful purchase such as an engagement ring. The stuff member insisted that I went swimming with my engagement ring after me telling her several times that I don't swim nor even set my feet in sea or pool water. Secondly, I have noticed a concerning discoloration in my engagement ring, which was purchased not long ago (July 2025). Given Pandora’s reputation for quality and craftsmanship, this issue is both unexpected and unacceptable. The ring holds significant sentimental value, and I am disappointed that its condition has deteriorated so quickly. I would appreciate it if you could investigate both matters. Specifically, I would like: An explanation and appropriate action regarding the staff member’s conduct. Guidance on how this product issue will be resolved, whether through repair, replacement, or refund. Please let me know the next steps as soon as possible. I can provide proof of purchase and any additional details if required. I look forward to your prompt response and a satisfactory resolution. I hope to hear from you ASAP as this is my 5th time reaching out!

Mickayla-Lee at Pandora Tygervalley
Best service I've ever received! Mickayla-Lee was incredibly welcoming, patient, and helpful. She took the time to page through the folder to provide a quote for the items I needed. She has a wonderful manner — professional, attentive, and made me feel truly valued, unlike some salespeople who judge based on appearance. Mickayla-Lee is a genuine asset to the company, and with her outstanding attitude and work ethic, I have no doubt she has a bright future ahead. Thank you for exceptional service.

Pandora Online a HUGE Problem to deal with. Rather stay away!
Pandora online has been a nightmare to deal with. Considering their over priced products, I decided to make 3 purchases of a total of around 8 Items for my daughters birthdays. The first order was cancelled - until today No refund. When I contacted Pandora via email, they said it was a system error but with no apology just assumed I still wanted the items 3 weeks later. I refused to accept the order and until today no reply, no way forward. Totally disrespectful. Second order the 1 item was too small, I went to the East Rand Mall branch, Sandton and Woodmead branch and nobody could help me as it was an online order and they unable to. What stupid systems don't you have. Under no circumstances will I ever do business with Pandora again, and please to everyone out there I don't recommend you do either. You will be sitting with expensive items you cant use and money that is not refunded to you for weeks going on months on end.

Rude and non existent services at Pandora's Table Bay Mall, Western Cape
I attended at Pandora's Table Mall, Western Cape on Saturday 21 March at roughly 11:30 AM. Two staff members were on duty, a woman and a male. I wished to avail myself of your 3 for 2 offer. One of the charms was not in stock. I advised that I would pay in full and then collect the charm once ordered. Your staff refused to do so. I then advised them that I had previously done so with another one of your staff members from the same branch. They advised that they were unaware of this. I then explained to them that if they were unwilling to assist me, I would go online, purchase the items there and that they would lose the sale. They were not perturbed. When I reasonably asked them how they restock items that they run out of they informed me that it was not my business. Both were extremely surly and rude. I am bringing this to your attention as I would have thought that being in the business of sales they would actually want to have made a sale! That is, outside their attitude which was shocking. I will also be posting this complaint on Hellopeter because the general public should be aware of the attitude of the staff at Pandora's Table Bay Mall which is best to stear clear of.
