Unreliable Service

To whom it may concern,

I'm generally a patient person, but OpenWeb has pushed my buttons once and for all.

I opened an account with OpenWeb last year (2016) around September. The service started off well and I had no issues. I was able to log on to my OpenWeb account and from there manage my services, reset my port, change my account details. I even had a daily mail to notify me how much cap I have used and how much is left for the rest of the month. Life was Great!

After having the account with OpenWeb for about two months I started having some issues. All of a sudden my internet would drop or I would have no access or the line speed would be very slow. After restarting my router, reseting my port through the web page (I used my cellphone as a hotspot in order to get online) and going through all the phases to try and resolve the issues my self I eventually caved and sent OpenWeb a mail so that they can fix it from their side. They eventually resolved the issue by creating a new account for me and switching me to it. This only happened after I threatened to cancel my account.

I also noticed that during this transition I was unable to reset my port through the OpenWeb webpage and that I also had not recieved anymore mails regarding my cap usage. I questioned OpenWeb about this and I was told that they were busy with a migration and that these services will eventually become available again...I should have cancelled right there and then...

None the less after switching me to the new account I did not have issues again for a while, apart from not recieving updates on my cap usage or being able to reset my port. The issues started again around the beginning of March this year. My internet would completely drop and the funny thing is it would always happen close to a weekend or during the weekend. I would have to sit without internet those weekends and wait till Monday in order to have OpenWeb resolve the issue.

I'm currently sitting without internet and I'm using my phone as a hotspot to write this review. I've been without internet since Thursday last week. I've put through my cancellation request and still awaiting a responce. The worst part is that I have to give a month's cancelation notice, which means that I'll probably be without internet next month and OpenWeb is going to take my money...for free...
