Takes 3 months to cancel contract
It appears that Openweb is in a financial crisis. What else am I to think about my experience the last 45 days. I have been a happy customer with Openweb for a couple of years now. Due to unforseen circumstances I was forced to cancel my contract with them. This I did on 31 December 2015 giving 30 days notice. I only received a ticket number as acknowledgement. When another debit order went of in February I realized they didn't adhere to my request. I sent another mail and in the response I got, which was the 1st response, I noticed that one of their employees responded to my 1st email minutes after I sent it on 31 December. This mail I never received, neither the one he sent hours later. What I found strange is that the time stamp on my 1st mail differed by 3 hours from the original I sent. Nevertheless my complaint is that Openweb was adamant that I follow a different procedure in cancelling and now still expects me to pay until the end of March. Why is it so difficult to get proper service in cancelling a simple contract. At the end of the day if I must do what they expect I would have paid for an additional 3 months. I don't care what they say, I WIL NOT pay them another cent.
