Shaped - No access: Google Search/Gmail/GDrive etc

Within 2 weeks of signing up for the Openweb Uncapped Home 4Mbps account I've learned the following: Openweb's shaping is so severe that, between 07:00 and 00:00 daily, you will not be able to access Google Search, Google Drive, Gmail, YouTube, and Whatsapp images won't download for most of the time. Never mind that shaping is supposed to only slow down downloads and streaming, you will (probably and for most of the time) not be able to read your emails or do a Google search if you have an Openweb Uncapped Home 4Mps account.<br> <br> I left Mweb for Openweb because Mweb throttles your uncapped account after 50gigs of downloads. Their throttling reduces your Internet speed to 0.50Mbps. But I've now realised that even Mweb's throttling is a lot better than Openweb's shaping, as you can at least still use Gmail and Google Search... It is ironic that Openweb pride themselves for, unlike many other ISPs, providing unthrottled home uncapped accounts. It's a shame that SA's ISPs are in such a disastrous state...<br> <br> To cancel your Openweb account email [Email Removed] don't bother emailing any other address they've provided on their website.
