Joining Openweb was easy and quick. After a week, my line was permanently throttled. Even on the first day of the month, when I am only going on Facebook.

After an enquiry about this, the tech advised that this is their server making those decisions and there is nothing anyone can do to change that. I even opted to upgrade my speed, but was advised my line will be throttled the same. Which means, I will get the same speed at a more expensive price.

I then tried cancelling my contract, but the online server did not take my application. The online application advised that if no response it must be printed and faxed. There are no option/button available to download/print the application. I manually captured the form on a document and faxed and emailed it through.

This whole process took about 3 days, which put me in a new month. I was then advised that my contract will only be terminated end of the next month (almost two months).

I tried everything to make them understand that it is their useless systems which caused the delay, but they just refer me to their legal department.

I advise anyone looking for an ISP to stay away as far as possible. They are a bunch of theives and do not deliver any service

Just to add to the frustration, if you try to contact the technical department, the phone keeps on cutting off. Never was I able to succesfully log a technical issue
