Gave them another chance and theyre pretty good ISP ngl!

I was apprehensive about rejoining after a bad experience having to do with a late payment about 2-3 years ago, but there is just nothing out this side better than Telkom for me, and a lot of resellers just suck and upmark their packages. I saw openweb on Facebook and thought why not give it another try? I think the minimum is about 2 months stay which would be fine as long as I go with Telkom instead of MTN.

I ended up really liking my first month. The sign up has not changed too much, but the staff are nice and jumpy. I have gotten between 15Mbps and 30Mbps speed on the Uncapped 25 which drops a little around 7 but not too much. It is about what I would get for Fibre in my area but there is no contract! I think that is the selling point for me. I have been *****ed too many times to go for contracts with these big companies so Im happy openweb has plenty of options.

The staff are less quick to respond after you receive your Sim, but I guess that is to be expected because they take more time to type out the repsonses then since they cannot use templates. I have some experience in customer service for insurance, so I get it.

Overall, i really recommend openweb if you are looking for wifi that does not require a contract or installing wires. I am glad that I gave them a chance again because tbh, I was getting tired of having to worry about getting connected especially since I am a part time student. Definitely download your stuff though because streaming is never the highest quality it can be unless you have 5g or something.
