Unacceptable Delays on Fibre Migration – No Urgency from Openserve

I’m extremely disappointed with how Openserve has handled the fibre migration process. Although the relocation was requested ahead of time to ensure a seamless switchover on 01 August, the fibre remains inactive at the new address — and it's now well past the move-in date.

Afrihost has advised that the ONT serial number “does not exist” on Openserve’s system, preventing them from remotely configuring the connection. This is deeply concerning, considering the ONT was left by the previous tenant. A technician has only now been scheduled for 11 August, which is far too long to wait for a simple relocation. In fact, a brand-new fibre installation typically happens faster than this.

There appears to be no urgency or proactive effort from Openserve to resolve this, despite multiple escalations. The delay has caused major disruption, and the overall lack of coordination and communication is unacceptable.
