******* trying to ***** an overhead telephone cable cut it near my property, leaving me with no telephone or ADSL service. A technician came out within a day of so of my reporting the problem, and determined that the line was cut. Although fixing overhead lines is not his speciality, he returned the next day to apply a temporary fix. I must say that over many years I've always had good service from Telkom/Openserve technicians in my area (Bain's Vlei, Bloemfontein).
