Over a week of no Wi-Fi service

I am a resident in Beachwood Durban North. Last Sunday evening, 28 Sept 2025, during a storm the fibre pole on the road outside my residence was either hit by a vehicle of fell over. None the less my fibre cable was lying in the road as the pole is on the opposite side of the road. At about 10H45 a vehicle travelling past somehow hooked the fibre cable and pulled it along until it snapped. Obviously we immediately lost our Wi-Fi connection. I logged the incident with Open Server first thing the next morning (Mon 29 Sept) on their website and received a ticket and then a phone call. I explained the situation and was informed that a technician would be dispatched. I told the lady from Open Serve that a new pole had to be erected first before a connection could be made. Long story short, I have logged 5 subsequent calls on their website, been called a further 2 occasions, and both times explained that a pole needed to be erected. I also explained the urgency of the reconnection as some of the residents rely on the Wi-Fi for conducting their business. On 2 occasions I observed an Open Serve vehicle parked arrive on site, but on both occasions no pole was brought along and so the vehicles left again. It is now a week later and nothing has been done. We have gone to the Telkom office who are the ISP to try and escalate the problem, but still nothing. There just seems no urgency on this call from Open Serve.
