OpenServe Plays The Public For Fools

1. Sometime earlier in 2021, an OpenServe representative screamed and shouted at my gate. Eventually, we let them in once we were reasonably sure they weren't ******s trying to fool us.

2. The rep went on to try and convince us to use their fiber offering, saying we could remain with our current network (Vodacom), but they would be the line provider and would provide a more reliable fiber connection at a lower cost. We foolishly agreed and they promised to come and do the switch over ASAP.

3. After taking approximately half the age of the universe, they eventually pitched up (after making appointments and then failing to honour them), only to "discover" that they "thought" the switch over was for a Telkom client, instead of Vodacom. They proceeded to harass us to change over to Telkom from Vodacom, and we refused, so they promised to come back.

4. After I followed up several times over the next month or two, Openserve pitched up unannounced (luckily someone was home) and proceeded to install a new router. However, the left it unconnected next to my fridge, where it has been lying for several weeks without ANY feedback or communication from Openserve.

Openserve clearly thinks they are working for the government, instead of in the private sector.
