Openserve not knowing whats going on in there own infrastructure. Recently I placed a couple of fibre orders with telkom to get Fibre installed as fibre was finished in April 2017. I then this week looked to Transfer my current ADSL to WebAfrica as Telkom is a bunch of clowns(but we all know that by now). So then WebAfrica told me that Fiber is availible in my area and they can give me that service(Great). 2Days Later fiber is no longer availible as OpenServe told them that its not availible(Nice). So I had an OpenServe Engineer outt at my premisis and he told and showed me that fiber is availible, even providing me with the Optical Pole number that is situated 3 houses away from me. So to go into a bit of history: Just a bit more then 2 years back No SP could provide me with ADSL as according to them its not availible in my area, well well if it was not for the previouse owner giving me his land line he use to have I sitt would not have ADSL, as till today if I try to move my ADSL account even according to them and OpenServe not Even ADSL is availible in my Area, but I have ADSL for about 2 years now. So Now that Fiber is availhaible confired by the OpenServe Engineer in the Area they keep on spinning me this storry. O and to add on my Neighbor has a 20Meg Fibre line for almost an Year now and I confirmed it with him and the OpenServe Engineer even showed me where his Fiber is running(But even today according to OpenServe’s Infracstucture, fiber is still not even availible for his house, but tell me how does he then already sit with Fiber.). OpenServe Wake the F up and update your System and stop misleading the SP’s as this gives bad review to yourself and SP’s and you causing issues that can be void.
