My dsl connection went down around the 23rd of last month due to a wiring issue in my area.. I have been in contact with openserve via email almost every day since... But all I get is "escalated.... Blah blah.... ". So last week monday. I had someone here from openserve at exactly 4pm after writing a review on mybroadband.. he came and took off the wall mounted jack and left everything laying around, the jack being disconnected. Wires hanging loose, to go "investigate" the issue. He came back the next day to tell me about handing it over to the lines department... Well it's now day 10 with this **** hanging and laying around waiting for them to fix it up. About two days ago I got an email from openserve telling me to check and confirm with them that I have a working connection. I immediately responded by asking how I should do that with a disconnected line in my house... Never got a response. Yesterday again I mailed pictures what the technician left me with only to get a "your query has been escalated...." Reply. I have told them I am depending heavily on my internet connection because I am working from home and that I have a college student also living with me and also depend on the internet for research. I have to pay my ISP.. and to top it all off their technicians missed 2 appointments in 2 days where I had reschedule with clients to wait around for them. I have to rely on mobile prepaid data which is super expensive if you have to be online for 80% of the day every day. I'm losing money because of them and I have mouths to feed.. oh yeah let me not forget to mention the rudeness of the one technician who came here when I got the line installed after being offline for 2 weeks as well.. this dude told me he ain't coming onto my property because he is in no mood for my dogs... 2 small dogs both on leashes barking at him.... So he will call me the next day.. anyway you leave me no choice if this does not work, then I will talk to my lawyer. I'll do that tomorrow.. again, because of you I am losing money. I'm sure the entire openserve isn't as negligent. Time to have a look at the George team openserve, and please don't ask me for my details I'm sure you have it.
