Openserve fibre through Afrihost a definite NoNo!

Don't get Openserve fibre through Afrihost. We waited almost 2 months for Openserve to install the fibre, even though Afrihost said that it would take 1 week. When we followed up, Afrihost said that there was nothing that they could do because Openserve is in charge of the infrastructure. Worse still, even as the consumer, we were told that we could not contact Openserve ourselves and were forced to rely on Afrihost to act as the go-between. This set-up made it easy to pass the buck with absolutely no accountability from either party. Unfortunately our tale of woe is not over yet, as we now have the cable that is running from the house to the pole hanging across the sliding gate. It has been this way for almost a month now, with no sign of activity from either Afrihost or Openserve. I left email messages on both their webpages and cc'd my husband. My husband never received the emails, which just goes to show that these 'contact us' facilities are a sham.
