Openserve denying me fibre installation
Hi there. My apartment is above a doctor and dentist surgery in a complex. There are other tenants in the building. We have ADSL in our building and have been looking forward to fibre, showing our interest over the past few months. The owner of the building has received an email saying that because it is a business complex, fibre is not feasible. I find that absolutely shocking! We are living in apartments here. We require proper internet that does not rely on an exchange. Fibre is available in the entire road except for our building and the building next door. What's more is that the fibre cables were laid literally behind our building so it's right there. As of 1 September, Telkom is increasing their ADSL rates and lowering their fibre rates. Why should I pay the increased rate if they refuse to lay fibre here. I hope the verdict of this changes. The tenants here would all LOVE to be on fibre. The infrastructure is in the area. Surely we should not be denied this! Thanks very much!
