No fibre installation for 21 days
We asked Afrihost to install a fibre line at our home on the 27th of November 2020 and we got a notification that it was received. On the 29th of November the order was accepted by Afrihost. On the second of December the guys from OpenServe came to our home and said they had to check with our neighbours about the fibre line. They had both my and my husbands number and did not contact us and just left without telling us what is going on. We had to contact Afrihost, only to find out that it will take more time to install the fibre line. We received the router on the second of November and since then no one has contacted us regarding the installation. Although, I was promised several times by Godfrey, Thapelo, Rendani and Vanelle from Afrihost that they would contact me. I called Afrihost on the 15th of December 5 times to find out why the fibre line has not been installed yet. I was told it is a problem with Openserve. I have since then called them everyday and anything is yet to be done regarding our fibre line. We are now on 21 days without internet. My business works solely online and I am losing money due to Afrihost and Openserve's. Today I have been told that Openserve will no longer do any installations for this year. Which means my business will suffer severe losses. Afrihost and Openserve was given ample time to install our fibre line, this lack of customer service is completely unacceptable.
