We moved house recently, I had a 100Mb Openserve fibre line that I ordered through MWEB.
Placed the order for fiber to be moved to the new house on the 11th of December 2019.
On the 17th of December an Openserve installation team showed up at the new premises, spent most of the day here and before they left said that they have done what they could but that an additional port would need to be provisioned on the exchange for the fiber to actually work.
They were full of promises that they would come back the same day or at latest the next day and that was the last I ever saw of them.
50+phone calls and hrs of airtime later, I mean you hold 20mins average when phoning MWEB just to speak to someone who then transfers your away and then the line goes dead or the person on the other side promises to phone back and simply never does.
Not even to mention the "Select 2 or whatever for your installation progress" option, when you select that option you get a voice prompt that reckons we will phone you back. what a joke, not one call.
Because I can't speak to Openserve directly Mweb has to do this. But it's just been a bucket filled with empty promises.
Needless to say, our family and new house was and still is without Internet with zero commitment from anyone as to what the hell the problem is and how long it would take to fix this.
It is literally just someone that has to log on to a device, provision a virtual port and do some setup. wouldn't take more than 10-15mins.
It is firstly their mistake in that they have already connected the port that was supposed to be used by my house to another house.
Why the hell should I be waiting so long, making so many calls, following up and not one single person can actually tell me what the **** is going on.
Openserv you really don't care about your customers at all.
Mweb your customer service is really bad, horrific.
