ADSL cutoff date?

Hi, there has been a lot of coverage in the media about a cutoff date for copper-based adsl. The date they're talking about is September 2020. Apparently Open Serve sent an email to all ISPs to this effect. Is this true and if so, are you planning on telling the people who use it at all?
