**** motor dealership

****. Wanted to buy a vehicle from them. Was told vehicle has low milage full service history and no accidents. Repeatedly asked for the VIN report. After paying myself to obtain the report from Firstcheck, I found out that the milage on the vehicle is not even close to what is advertised, also the vehicle had multiple repairs done on the body and mechanically. Please do NOT buy from these ****mers.

Nerve Wrecking

I bought a car in October 2025 at OMC and it hasn't been a pleasant journey to date. 18 January 2026 Complained to Bridget that the car is swinging at the back when driving and there is a lot of noise coming from the rare suspension. I Complained to Jaco about the same problem as Bridget was not getting back to me. He said he'll refer me to Dorah as he said she deals with complaints but Ihad to constantly text to get her email and numbers. 24 February 2026 I reported to Dorah, she asked for my particulars I sent them to her. I followed up with her on the 26, 27 Feb, 07, 10, 24 and 25 March no response till I told her that I lodged a complaint with the bank and she responded saying that I should communicate with Jaco as I have a signed contract with him and the bank yet Jaco sent me to her. I sent a complaint to the Bank. 27 March 2026 The finance department of OMC called me it was Yagan and Monique with an attempt to assist me they said I should take the car to an RMI workshop for repairs they will pay from my warranty. The challenge was they will not assist with a courtesy car. 15 April 2026 Bridget contacted me through a phone call and offered me a courtesy car and repairs on the vehicle and I took it back to the dealership on the 16th of April 2026. 19 April 2026 Bridget contacted me that the car is ready I should bring back the courtesy as it has a buyer and they need to do repairs on it and sell it to that person. I requested for a Job card indicating what was repaired it was not provided. 27 April 2026 I went there to collect the bakkie two days later it started to leak again. 3 May clutch was not working i reported, i was told to wait there are many complaints. When I contacted them again they told me that I'll have to repair it for myself it's a wear and tear so they do not cover clutches. I repaired the clutch myself. For the diff I was told to look for a handy man I said I will, I then went to an RMI workshop got a quote and sent it no feedback. The car has an ongoing sound on the front suspension when turning I reported it when i was reporting the diff the first time. I took the car to vossies and the warranty says they want guarantee on the bearings on the diff as it has been leaking and swinging and the workshop said they won't repair the car. I asked the workshop to look at the sound on the fron suspension they wanted an examining fee of R1000 something I didn't have therefore they made a stipulation of the steering rack and other components, I will attach the quote but they cannot send it to the warranty as they did not properly examine the car. The evening of 10/07/2026 the steering wheel hardened and it is writing steering assist malfunction service req'd.

OMC TO CHANGE THEIR NAME TO "WE WILL GET BACK TO YOU"

If I could give OMC Motors less than 1 star then I would do that. I started my search for a vehicle end of February and after numerous test drives I ended up at OMC Motors to test drive a Ford Focus. The car was amazing, everything seemed in line with what we were looking for......until the problems started. First of all, we app**** for a loan to buy the car cash.....the listed price was R125 000.00 , the sales person Zandi then informed us that the car was listed incorrectly and was actually supposed to be listed for R135 000.00, with a lot of back and forth we agreed to pay R130 000.00. I collected the vehicle on the 07th of March 2026 - everything again seemed fine. The car drove like a dream, however in the 3 weeks I had the car I could only drive it 3 times of which I had to jump start it every time in order to just go somewhere. I raised this concern with them and advised that we would like to get a refund of the car and they can take the vehicle back....to which the answer was "we will get back to you" or their famous excuse "we will speak to the manager" who is NEVER there...... They eventually agreed in April that they will collect the vehicle, after many phone calls to them and messages from us to them, to have the car fixed.....they gave me a courtesy car with an expired disc.....and a car that has a battery terminal issue and at times also doesn't want to start.....they have given third parties more information on the status of my car than they provided me with...... It has been 6 weeks of them having my car in their possession and they still don't communicate unless I reach out to them or unless someone calls them. I have received no feedback in a week on my car and at this point I am paying a monthly instalment on a car that I don't have. Do not support this dealership as they seem to sell cars under false pretense and they do not want to come to the party from their side. The manager is subsequently also never at work and their famous line of "I'll get back to you" also never happens.....steer clear of this dealership.

Terrible service

Poor after-sales support and mechanical issues – avoid OMC MOTORS. "I bought a vehicle from this dealership in July 2024 for R110,000. While the initial sale with Bridget seemed fine, the after-sales service has been incredibly disappointing. Despite taking out an extended warranty, getting any support for mechanical issues has been a nightmare. The car has developed several serious faults: The car shudders significantly when pulling away. There are ongoing issues with the turbo. The clutch is not functioning properly Every time I try to organize a service or address these warranty items, I face constant delays. Dealing with Bridget post-sale has been a struggle; it feels as though the staff no longer cares once the deal is closed, ignoring the fact that the car has mandatory service intervals to maintain the warranty. Buying a car is a huge investment, and I expected much better support for a vehicle still under warranty. I would advise others to be very cautious before buying here."

Compain

Goodafternoon my name is SIBUSISO MASHELE I bought a car in 12 December 2025 at OMC motors Johannesburg I had a bad experience as the car was not roadworthy and they had to deliver it at my place were when it arrives the oil was coming out from the gasket seal the car was shaking when we test tar rod ends and rod ends are lose or needs to be replaced and the sound from the aircon the was bad as u could hear the sound from 50m away from the car then i immediately took the pics same day and send to the sales person then the arrangement was for me to look for the mechanic to diagnose the problems that I have mention above and I had to pay my for him and R500 for that then I did update them they ask me to get a quote from him the quote was R15000 incl labour tbt material cost was R11 000 regas wheel alignment and labour makes it to R15000 now they request me to bring the car to them to fix it while leaking oil they don’t consider the quote that was send to them I’m afraid that this damage needs breakdown or meet me by paying the mechanic to completely fix the car and take full responsibility from the day he fixed as I won’t trust the parts that they will use as I requested quote from Golfwagen it was R10 000 for parts Please intervene so we find a common group as they are threatening that they are closing in Friday then I have to do their way I so below they don’t mind about the reputation of their company the money that is coming in
