Keep debiting account after cancellation sent

Nxatel is still debiting bank account after I sent letter of cancellation / non renewal in December 2014 and numerous times already this year. After sending the letter 17 Dec 2014 that we will not be renewing the contract when it expires Feb/March 2015 I got a reply saying that I must only send the letter in 2015, which I did again on 6 Feb and many a times after that. Yet Nxatel still debits the bank account every month! I have called, I have emailed but they just dont stop. I even sometimes get a reply to my email after sending the the letter as an attachment , asking me to send a letter - how ludicrous is that! To date I have not so much as had a call back from them or even an apology for their error. I demand to be refunded in full for all the months they debited money without permission

Hello StarStruck,

Thank you for taking the time to bring your complaint to our attention

We have noticed that you have a 36 months contract with Nxatel and the duration of the contract has lapsed on the 30th of March 2015.

Once the contract has ended you need to send us the letter of not renewing the contract and yes the letter was sent to us 30 days prior to the expiry date, and it was received.

Note that it was explained that once you cancel the contract with us you have to pay for the ownership fee of the contract with is 3 months rental in order for you to own the equipment as it state of the terms and condition of the VoIP agreement on 3.2. which explain the ownership in and to the equipment.

As Such you have paid the Three months rental with Nxatel and therefore we cannot refund you but we will reconcile the account and once done the final invoice will be sent to you and the acknowledgement of cancellation will be sent to you.
