Unauthorised Debit Order
On 01/08/23 i got debited an additional debit order of R208 by your company. When I called on the very same day, I was told that you are aware of problem and you are busy sorting out. Bearing in mind I had spend over 15 min on the line holding which is costing me money. Then on 04/08/23 I then called again and was told that I should have been refunded and they will check what could the problem be and they will call me back, and they never did. On 07/08/23 I then sent you guys a msg on facebook and you responded by saying you will check who is handling my query. Only on 08/08/23 i then get told that it will take 2 to 5 days for my money to be refunded. Now my question why was I the one that had to call and query the unauthorised debit order, you could have at least sent a msg or an email to inform me. What if my account did not have enough money, that would have affect my bank as well as credit score due to a bounced debit order. Why are our monies not respected? The funny part is, of everyone I spoke to at your company regarding this issue, no one showed remorse or at least put themselves in my shoes. I NEED MY MONEY BACK ASAP. THE 2 TO 5 DAYS IS UNACCEPTABLE. It is totally unfair that I have to spend more than R50 on airtime calling you just to try get my money back, let alone the amount of time I have to spend on the phone and leave my work.
Your refund was processed on Monday from our side and proof of payment was sent to you by our Facebook team and via email, but as explained to you previously the two to five business working days is a bank policy and not a Net Nine Nine policy. After we had processed your refund on our side on Monday, it will take that period for the amount to reflect on your side. Due to yesterday's public holiday that might further extend that a day more than expected. Kindly contact your bank to find out more about their interbank payment policies.
Once again we apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.
