MTN SUCKS!
I am over 70 years of age and have a chronic illness called "Parkinsons Disease". I have been a loyal customer of MTN for about 25 years or more. My family use a total of 6 Cellphones or Tablets. A few months ago I forgot to pay my account. At the same time I forgot the password of my email and still cannot get into it. So I never saw the emails MTN was sending to me. Only when they suspended my cellphone number did I realise what was going on. That was about 6 weeks ago. I keep getting passed over to different departments - even though I have told then I'm willing to pay. FIrstly I got involved with the CollectionsAdmin department, then the CreditManagement Department and a Mr Damons offered me a payment plan. . Now he has disappeared and an unknown person from the Legal Department sent me a message that they are handling my account. However, that was a full week ago and in the meantime I cannot use my cellphone and I really need it. Earlier today I sent a letter by email to the CEO of MTN - a man by the name of Rob Shuter. The result? A deafening silence. I'm at my wits end. I bet hey will still charge me for the 6 weeks that I have been suspended.
