MTN keeps avoiding me when trying to cancel contract

My MTN contract expired this month and I've been trying to call MTN to cancel the contract but they won't answer the phone. I sent them an e-mail I haven't got any response from them. I feel like they are dodging me so they can keep billing me for data I do not need.
