Faulty Laptop Supp**** by MTN
I purchased a laptop online from MTN Online on the 15th of April 2019 and on receipt thereof I discovered that the battery was not charging. I immediately contacted MTN on *** as per the Faulty Notebook Procedure issued with the laptop. I was referred me to the supplier who was First Technology - Umhlanga. They collected the laptop for repairs. They did not fix the laptop after spending more than a month with it. I later received a call from HP and they said the suppliers would return the laptop to me and HP would write me an authorisation for return letter which I was to take to an MTN Store for the laptop to be replaced. I
I went to the MTN Morningside store on Friday the 16th of August some 2 days after the laptop was returned to me and met the Branch Manager for Sandra Zwane and she said they cannot replace the laptop and referred me to MTN Direct Store. I asked her to give me a letter stating that and she refused. She gave me an email address for the MTN Direct store which is *** and told me I send an email to them. When I sent an email to the email address she gave me it bounced back and I got a message saying they don't accept emails from external people. I am now stuck with a laptop that is not working properly 4 months after I purchased it and MNT is reneging from its responsibility of replacing the laptop.
