Terrible and misleading service Mobile Plus

Agent from mobile plus ( Rudion Khan) phoned me on 05 Aug 2020 to upgrade my MTN contract. Ensured me that it’s only a sim upgrade and that I will still be allegeable for my handset upgrade in 2021 when the iPhone 12 is available. Have been billed for new handset since then and now according to mobile plus, after hours on the phone it is apparently not the case and I am no longer allegeable for upgrade. Surely this is ******* and cannot be done. MTN is also just escalating to mobile plus even though my contract is with them. Please don’t ever use this service!!
