my sim card isnt working because of the mtn strike

Its been weeks almost a month, since my sim card was migrated to contract.it decided not ti work. Ive dealt with a number of ppl. Still not working.all they tell me is that mtn is on strike. Its active bla bla bla. My question is is there something thats being done,since now im a job seeker and im having a sim thats not working......
