Mobileplus-- bad business practise

I had an MTN contract which had come to an end, and was on a month to month contract. I was called by a Mobileplus salesperson in Oct 21. I informed her that I wish to keep the current month to month arrangement in place as i was considering changing networks. She insisted that if we extended the contract for a further period it CAN be cancelled with 30 days notice as it was SIM only deal, with my existing SIM being retained. This was confirmed telephonically. Lo and behold in March 22 I tried to serve 30 days notice to change the deal to prepaid with a view to cancelling same. MTN said it cant be done and referred me to Mobileplus. Since then it has been a nightmare. Emails go unanswered as is promises to review the recording and revert. The recording would clearly confirm the telesales agenting confirming that the deal could be cancelled. To this day no joy. Tried calling them on ***-- the calls cut off. When I did get through and spoke to a Malusi (Call refrence ***) his promise to revert has not been met. This company extended a contract on false information / blatant misrepresentation. And theres no one at Mobileplus or the Igntion group to turn to. Will keep trying--- Would absolutely not recommend this business at all
