I should have searched this company before agreeing to anything!

<p>Yesterday the 28th of June I received a call from one of the consultants at Mobilesplus. The lady said she was calling from MTN. She told me they have an iPhone 7 128gb on special for R709 per month for 24 months. I agreed thinking it was a reasonable offer. I told her that I want it in the rose gold color and she said she doesn't know what color will be sent to me but will make a note. She did not fully explain to me about the other "incentives" namely the unknown apps that she had signed me up for. I later received a call from Thandeka to confirm if my details have been taken correctly. And that's where I actually realised that I wasn't dealing with MTN, as the other consultant claimed. When I asked her about the apps she said I can cancel them at any time but maybe I should try them out for a month or two. I was not informed that I have to pay for these as well. After going through the reviews here I decided to opt out of the process. Now I'm panicking. The phones they are selling, are they pre-used? Why are other people here claiming they received faulty devices? This morning when I called to cancel I spoke to a lady by the name of Justine and gave her my ID number to access my record but to my surprise I was told nothing is coming up. So I figured since they do respond here I have a better chance having this matter attended to than sending an email to some unattended support email address she gave me. The only amount I can afford to pay is only R709, and to be able to pick out the color I want as a paying customer. I do not want the other apps they are offering. I would like to cancel my order, I do not wish to continue with the process anymore. My order number is MP- ********** 0-1. Kindly assist.</p>
