Beware! They contact and sell under false pretence

These people are ********! They call under the pretence that they are calling on behalf of your mobile service provider informing you of a price change to your contract. In my case, MTN.

They do not ask you to share any personal information with them but they know your contract details and offer you a newly structured price plan, and ask for your authorization to go ahead with the new price plan 'migration'.

What they fail to mention, even after being explicitly asked about it, is that there is a monthly fee involved. They do not mention that you are being sold anything, simply migrating your current package to a newly structured one.

Next thing you know, you're being emailed a confirmation of 'order' with a monthly bill of R129.

Mobilesplus, I would like this so called 'order' cancelled ASAP!
